The event "Complexity Challenges in ATM" took place in Cologne, 9th September 2016 in EASA headquarters, organized by the ComplexWorld Network - the long-term research network supported by SESAR and coordinated by Innaxis.

After more than 4 years of activity, the ComplexWorld Network has developed research contributing to progress beyond the state of the art in ATM. The achievements made by the ComplexWorld stakeholders have led to the identification of several Complexity Challenges in ATM. ComplexWorld requested external assessments on how the challenges have been covered and where there are existing gaps. In this event, the results of these assessments are presented.

The event was coorganized in tandem with the fourth (2016) "Data Science in Aviation Workshop", which took place the previous day in the precise same location.
